On the 14-15th of September, George “FIJI” Veikoso organised and promoted his very own show—a remarkable achievement for an event of this scale without the backing of a promoter.
The two-day show held at King Charles Park, Nadi, Fiji was a huge success. With an impressive line-up featuring international artists J Boog, Maoli, Josh Tatofi, Justin Wellington, Lomez Brown and more. As well as local talents like Paradise Rootz, Inside Out, Billy T & Ratu. It was a line-up that beautifully showcased the rich musical tapestry of the Pacific.
The Homecoming festival was not only a great weekend of music; it has also paved the way for larger international shows to be held in Fiji. The success of this event signals a new era for entertainment in the region, promising enhanced experiences for attendees and a significant economic boost for local businesses. The event sold over 10,000 tickets and drew fans from all over the world, such as Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Vanuatu, and beyond. Making the show a fantastic opportunity to further promote and highlight Fiji’s unique cultural offerings.
